USA Flag recently filed a lawsuit against USA Football for trademark infringement. This legal action aims to protect our brand and the integrity of flag football. As an organization committed to the growth and development of the sport, we believe it’s crucial to address this issue head-on.
The Lawsuit
USA Flag filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas against USA Football, Inc. The lawsuit primarily alleges that USA Football is using our registered USA FLAG trademark to brand some of its own activities, and as a result, USA Football is intentionally using our USA FLAG trademark, causing a likelihood of confusion in the flag football marketplace.
