The 2019 Battle Orlando Flag Football Nationals is approaching fast with divisions for youth to adult for all skill levels across many styles! Orlando is one of our absolute favorite destinations in the country with a ton of attractions, theme parks, restaurants, and nightlife options for all ages! Below are some of our suggestions on what to do during your trip and would highly recommend you extend your stay a couple days to take advantage of everything Orlando has to offer!

 

 

Disney World

Disney World is the most visited theme park in the entire world with attractions suitable for the entire family. Your kids can experience favorites such as Star Wars, Toy Story, Mickey Mouse and some of your favorite super heroes. Adults can experience thrilling roller coasters like The Tower of Terror, Rockin’ Rollercoaster, Space Mountain and many more!

 

 

Cheap Flights

Universal Studios is a theme park for the “Big” kid in us all. This park offers thrill rides such as The Incredible Hulk, Spiderman, King Kong, Fast & Furious, Jurassic Park, The Mummy, Simpsons, & the world-famous Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

 

 

Close Proximity to Beaches

Orlando is about as centrally located as you could hope for. It is about 45-60 minutes in either direction to a world class beach such as St. Pete Beach, Clearwater Beach, Cocoa Beach, Daytona Beach and a few more!

 

 

International Competition

Orlando is the most traveled and visited place on the entire earth. This status will get travelers and players perks like ease of access for international teams to come compete and we already have many teams confirmed from countries like Panama, Mexico, Canada and more! Its always fun to play fresh faces and see new play styles.

 

 

Disney Springs

Disney Springs, where we’ll be hosting our captains meeting and draft,  is a large man made mini city/village built by Disney that includes everything you could imagine. There are stores like Under Armour, Coach & Sephora. There are dozens of restaurants, gift shops, fun activities and places to just hangout and have a drink!

 

 

iDrive Orlando

iDrive Orlando is a long road in the suburbs in Orlando near Lake Buena Vista. It will have (2) separate outlet malls with outlet stores like Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Puma, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Lids and many more! There are also numerous restaurants and clubs along this stretch of road including Dave & Busters and other fun options!

 

 

Universal City Walk

Universal City Walk is a water side stretch of shops and mostly restaurants nestled just outside the Universal Studios Orlando theme park. It is one of the most iconic and scenic places you can visit while in Orlando with tons of restaurants and nightlife options!

 

 

It’s Still Warm ?

Most of the players will be “Snow Bird” Traveling for this tournament. What better reason do you need than “Its not snowing in Florida”!
